United States Ambassador to Oman, Greta C Holtz, along with a delegation from the OABC visited OCTAL’s world-class PET Complex as part of a tour of businesses and manufacturing facilities in Salalah. Holtz was shown how the company has revolutionised the production process of PET to create its patented direct-to-sheet product, DPET™. DPET™ is used globally to package fresh food and consumer products. OCTAL’s unique-to-the-world DPET™ and PET resin has seen the company establish itself as a major supplier to the world’s most popular brands, internationally as well as locally. OCTAL also has a significant share of the local packaging market in cooking oils, fruit juices, water bottles and yogurt pots.
